PHASE 1

BRAND DESIGN

Our friend April Scoggins, the mastermind behind The Velvet Press, called us with a mission – a logo glow-up! You know, the old logo served its time well, but it was time for a fresh vibe. April wanted something snazzy, something that screamed “Velvet Press 2.0.” Our journey started with a deep dive into the history of this creative haven. Ever wondered why it’s called “The Velvet Press”? Us too! Turns out, there’s a poetic story behind it, a tale we were eager to weave into the new logo. April spilled the beans on what she loved and what had to go in the old logo. Likes, dislikes, the whole nine yards – it was like getting the secret recipe for the perfect logo blend. Armed with this insider info, we ventured into the wild world of prototyping. After about two weeks of working with April and her team, they agreed on the new logo and icon options.

PHASE 2

WEBSITE DESIGN

Phase 2 began with the design of a new website that included an e-commerce component that would allow Velvet Press to be able to sell t-shirts and apparel online. We implemented a fully responsive solution backed by WordPress CMS with 50+ items in the store. Our team also installed a custom shipping solution as well as payment options without leaving the site.
